The Executive Council Chairman of Oriade Local Government Area, Hon. Olubunmi Ezekiel Obeisun, has reaffirmed his commitment to party unity and internal democracy as he hosted members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration team drawn from across Oriade Local Government.
The strategic meeting, held at the Chairman’s office within the Oriade Local Government Secretariat, Ijebu-Ijesa, was convened to strengthen coordination and ensure a smooth, transparent, and inclusive e-registration exercise at the grassroots level.
Addressing the team, Hon. Obeisun commended members for their dedication and sense of responsibility, urging them to carry out the registration exercise with utmost fairness and integrity. He cautioned against favoritism or exclusion, stressing that no individual, ward, or group should be given undue advantage.
“The APC is one united family built on internal democracy and equal opportunities for all,” the chairman stated, emphasizing that the party’s collective interest must always supersede personal ambitions, caucuses, or affiliations.
Hon. Obeisun noted that the strength of any bloc or tendency within the APC is inseparable from the overall success of the party, calling on the e-registration team to continue promoting love, unity, and mutual respect amongst members across all wards in Oriade Local Government Area.
Expressing optimism about the party’s future in Osun State, the council chairman voiced confidence that with sustained grassroots mobilization and collective effort, the APC’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, would secure victory in the August 8, 2026 gubernatorial election. He described the ongoing e-registration exercise as a critical foundation for the party’s electoral success.
In a show of support, Hon. Obeisun pledged to provide the Oriade APC e-registration team with necessary gadgets and logistical assistance to ensure a fast, efficient, and seamless registration process.
Members of the e-registration team present at the meeting include Ogunmoroti Tosin (Oriade E-registration Supervisor); Bepo Emmanuel Adetoyese (Ward 12); Ayeni Ayodeji (Ward 2); Ogunsuyi Idowu and Adeloye Saka Idowu (Ward 11); Fademi Timileyin Niyi (Ward 3); Omoniyi Boluwatife (Ward 6); Oyekunle Oyeleke Isaac and Amusa Kazeem Kayode (Ward 7); Ayoade Kehinde (Ward 4); Adebayo Ojo Daniel (Ward 5); and Ajibade Ajibola Peter (Ward 6).
