A Federal High Court in Abuja has denied former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello’s request to travel to the UK on health grounds.
Justice Emeka Nwite ruled that the medical report provided by Bello was unsigned and thus lacked probative value.
According to the court, unsigned medical report is worthless in law, therefore Bello’s application for passport release was rejected
while the case was adjourned till October 7, 2025 for continuation.
Bello is facing alleged N80.2 billion fraud charges by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
