A leading talk radio station, RockCity FM, Abeokuta will on Thursday, September 11, 2025, host a special edition of its flagship programme, Citizens Forum, with a focus on the ongoing voter registration exercise across Nigeria.
The live programme, airing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on 101.9FM and streamed on Facebook, will feature in-depth discussions on the challenges, opportunities, and importance of continuous voter registration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The program will be hosted by Osatohanmen Ighalo-Chima and Dr. Jamiu Folarin, both seasoned journalists and public affairs analysts.
The guests at program are: Dr. Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun State, and Ola Animasahun, a sociopolitical philosopher, civil society operative, entrepreneur, and consultant.
Accordingly, the forum will accord the listeners the better opportunity for better understanding INEC’s voter registration procedures, innovations, and challenges, while also addressing public concerns about accessibility, inclusiveness, and transparency of the process.
