The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) has commended the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for organizing a sensitization workshop on digital citizenship for persons with disabilities.

The workshop, themed “Empowering All – Advancing Digital Citizenship And Inclusion For Persons with Disabilities,” aimed to promote digital inclusion and accessibility for persons with disabilities.

The NCPWD Executive Secretary, Ayuba Gufwan, emphasized the importance of digital inclusion in advancing equality, inclusion, and independent living for persons with disabilities.

The workshop discussed ways to bridge the digital divide gap and remove stigma on persons with disabilities.

The NCC presented braille books to the NCPWD, promoting accessibility and inclusivity in education.
