The world of Nollywood threw into grief as veteran actress Peju Ogunmola Omobolanle mourns the devastating loss of her only child, Ayomikun Oluwanisola, affectionately known as Shina. The 24-year-old boy tragically passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, while his mother was on a film location.

Shina a newly completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, a significant milestone that filled his mother and the public with pride. His untimely descent into mortality, at such a promising and tender stage of life, has sent waves of grief across the industry and beyond .
