Tinubu encouraged eligible voters to participate without fear, stressing that democracy flourishes in an atmosphere of calm, tolerance, and mutual respect.
He also appealed to political parties, candidates, and supporters to avoid violence and inflammatory rhetoric capable of undermining the credibility of the polls.

He further urged INEC to strengthen public confidence by ensuring timely accreditation, seamless voting, accurate collation, and prompt transmission of results in line with the 2026 Electoral Act.
The Federal Government, he assured, will continue to supporting institutions responsible for delivering free, fair, and credible elections.
