The House of Representatives is backing the creation of new states and local governments in Benue State Zone C.

Hon. Philip Agbese, Deputy Spokesperson of the House, explained that this move will bring governance closer to the people, enhance service delivery, increase economic opportunities, and promote accountability and transparency at the grassroots level.

According to him, the creation of Apa State and new local government areas will unlock the vast potential of the constituency, ensuring governance is more responsive to the needs of the people.
