The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) has confirmed that the 100th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will proceed as scheduled on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the NEC Hall of Wadata Plaza, PDP National Secretariat, Abuja.

This decision comes after some members of the party attempted to circulate misinformation that the meeting had been converted to an expanded caucus meeting.

The 100th NEC meeting will proceed as scheduled, with no changes or cancellations.The National Convention is slated for August 28-30, 2025, and will also hold as planned.

The PDP NWC emphasized the party’s commitment to adhering to its constitution and internal democracy.

The Deputy National Chairman (South) addressed the media, assuring party members that the NEC meeting and National Convention will go on as scheduled.

The NWC cited Section 31(3) of the PDP Constitution, which states that the resolution of the NEC is binding on all organs and members of the party.

The PDP’s decision to proceed with the NEC meeting and National Convention may help to promote party unity and stability.
