The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Mutiu Olaleke Agboke, has called on eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
Dr. Agboke made the appeal during an advocacy visit to the Central Mosque of Fountain University, Osogbo, where he addressed worshippers after the Jumat prayers.
He highlighted the importance of voter registration and explained the processes for voter transfer, updating personal details, and replacing defaced or damaged voter cards.
He noted that these services are now available online via the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, www.cvr.inecnigeria.org, reducing the need for long queues at INEC offices.
The REC encouraged citizens to participate fully in the exercise ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
