Governor Fubara will re-present the state budget to a properly constituted Rivers State House of Assembly.

All impeachment proceedings initiated against Governor Fubara will be dropped immediately.

The remunerations and benefits of all members of the Rivers State House of Assembly and their staff will be reinstated, and Governor Fubara will ensure full funding for the Assembly ¹.

President Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State on March 18, 2025, due to the escalating political tension and security concerns.

Governor Fubara, his deputy Ngozi Odu, and the State House of Assembly were suspended, with Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) appointed as Administrator.

Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, stated that President Tinubu demonstrated his commitment to peace in Rivers State.
