The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has denied allegations of planning to rig the 2026 governorship election through the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) had accused the APC of mobilizing people from Lagos, Oyo, and Ondo States to register in Osun to vote in the election.

The APC described the allegations as “baseless” and “mere fabrications” aimed at attracting unmerited publicity.

The party’s Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, stated that the APC doesn’t need to rig to secure victory, citing its growing strength and appeal.

Olabisi advised the ADC to direct concerns over the CVR process to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) instead of making unsubstantiated claims.
