The Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has predicted that suspended Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, will suffer the same political fate as former Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, whose tenure ended in turmoil.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Fayose accused Damagum of plunging the opposition party into deeper crisis through manipulation and anti-party activities, describing his suspension as “long overdue.”
He congratulated the newly appointed Acting National Chairman, Mohammed Abdurrahman, and asked him to prioritise party unity, conduct long-awaited state congresses, and organise a credible national convention to reposition the PDP ahead of the future elections.
