President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to immediately commence the construction of two new hostels at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja campus.

According to the presidential directive, each of the hostels will accommodate 300 students, a move aimed at easing the perennial accommodation challenges faced by law students in the capital city.

Similarly, President Tinubu ordered the construction of a major access road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University, thereby improving mobility and infrastructure around the legal institution’s precinct.

The directive underscores the administration’s commitment to educational development, infrastructure expansion, and welfare of Nigerian students, particularly those in professional training.

Observers say the gesture also strengthens the Federal Government’s support for the legal profession, ensuring that future lawyers are trained in a conducive environment.
